I believe I read somewhere that it is someone from the Middle East. The design fits that type as well (high volume, not a lot of external areas).

On another note, a broker that has been involved in the sale of many large yachts has stated in one of their ads that they are involved in a yacht build that it '500' +/-". Is this the new Lurssen project that is going to be "more than a few meters longer than Eclipse"?

I think so. "Project Azzam" (180m - 590ft) or something like that.

I wonder if this will be the oh so long rumored replacement to Kingdom 5KR.

Edit: After a quick search, there are photos of hull sections of Azzam on a photo sharing website.

I can confirm that the exterior designer of Project 'Topaz' is Tim Heywood
    Designs Ltd.

I read in a popular yachting magazine's order book that it is going to be 170m-557ft long.

It looks to me that Projects "Azzam" and new "Kingdom 5KR" is the same ship.

As to limitations of shipbuilding facilities, the main Limit in this business - is the Bredth of the Hull, not the Length. And due to Martin photos the bredth of Azzam hull central cection is not bigger that the hull of Eclipse.

Oh I'm excited! Apparently she will be 144m x 21.5m with a gross tonnage of 11,589. That's pretty massive. I am going to take a couple guesses here now. I would think that she is designed by Tim Heywood. Also, from the dimensions and the other photos we have seen as an unfinished hull, she probably will not have much exterior spaces and will be focused on maximizing interior volume (and makes the tonnage more sensible).
