I recall seeing these often in Japan. I traveled to and from a fair bit in my software days. Japan, Korea, and Mainland China. In S. Korea, it is normal to straddle the head and face the wall. Keep in mind, the head is only about 8" wide. They still do it quite big-time. Invites about a 1000 of his closest friends for lobster and fireworks Half hour, spectacular show. But we all get to help finance the party with our individual cable bill
