All that non boat stuff turns me off. That stuff and the carnival atmosphere are why I'm skipping the show.

3 pics of small boats, one of which is in a box, and Shamwow. Is the show really as bad as it sounds?

Revamped this year. Nice compact show. Big boats to the east, tenders, fish boats to the south and on the street. Smaller vendors scattered around.

Spent Fri and Sat at the show and then headed out of town on a biz trip, so just getting back to the ole computer. Let me drop a few pics on you to show that the show was more than a bunch of sidewalk hawkers.

Now that looks more like a boat show. Thanks Tom. Any word on attendance?

The 2011 PB Show is getting bigger & better. It’s noticeably larger in terms of attendance; the number of docks and the length of the boats. Superyachts have officially migrated to the Palm Beach Show too. Attendance was sparse on Thursday, but picked up Friday. The weekend was busy as expected, with a mix of reel types and the Palm Beach not-so-real types, which helps to keep bored brokers entertained.

Don’t let my comments be a barometer, but from what I could see the interest on the docks seemed to be focused on cruising yachts, raised pilot house boats, etc. Saw a few sportfish salesmen sitting idle, wondering if they brought the right bait. As I walked the docks, I overheard some numbers being tossed around between buyers and brokers, but can't say for sure that deals are being done.

I know Tom got a lot of shots over the weekend. He’s got a heavy travel schedule this week, so it may be a couple of days before he uploads his digital take on things. I came away from the show with a couple of front page, special features that I’m putting into YF’s schedule.

I heard the CEO of Ferretti group had a heart attack and died at the show. Anyone else hear the same?

Perfect weather, decent crowd and tons of inventory. I thought it was a good turnout for the Palm Beach Show. Haven't heard any "official" results, but I do know that there were plenty of offers flying around our location. Only time will tell.

I can't wait for some pictures. Was planning to stop over on my way to the DR. But we had a trade show that I needed to work our company booth at!

I prefer this show over miami or ftl. Just the right size, just the right people and a perfect atmosphere.

I had a friend there showing his Sabreline 47. I'll wait to see what he had to say about the show?
