Another one found.... I believe the first one is aluminum. The 3rd photo is a steel boat that I may put up for adoption if anyone is interested. r n

    1962 44foot Riviera

My 1962, 44' Riviera is Hull number RAB-44-078. I found her, the victom of hard times, brought her home and we have not yet started to restore her. She really is in decent shape needing wood work, a little bit of hull repair and a lot of refinishing. Hope to have her in the water by summer of 2012, on Winnipesaukee. Gilford NH,

Has anybody heard from Redman recently? I got the impression he lost interest in this after the server crashed and he lost all his data.

    Or something to that effect.

Aggressive oversight by a certain admin or two, perhaps?

Well, and Redman losing his data.

Sheesh - you dont log on for a couple days and everybody thinks you're dead.
Not likely, despite the power outtages here in "country" Clifton I'm glad to say all the rumors of my recent death are overrated.
Roam On Brother roamers, roam on.
    Cheers!

Bannow you need to be more specific of the information you want. This forum is full of general knowledge you can find just by doing a search.

The best way is to cut out the affected area and replace without overlapping. Read some of the threads under Steel Hull Issues. If it's just a patch job you want to do, I would cut out the affected area then weld a patch over it from the outside.
