Of course I have a camera...but getting pics of her in the port isn't easy. On Wednesday we have 5 cruise ships and one of them has to use the sugar berth that "Eclipse" is on, so that means she will have to vacate the spot she is in. Whether she goes outside to anchor, I will have to see. Depending on where she goes, I will see if I can snap a few photos.

You may be right when you said they may be to discourage night time pics or unwanted viewing........ I was just bustin' your chops about the camera;) Perhaps you could see if one of the cruise ship could move out of the way so you could a snowed in guy in Ohio some nice pics

Yep, thanks! That is one really long passerelle! I took some photos of her yesterday of her out in the Carlilse Bay. I had to do ALOT of walking on the beach to get the various angles. The yacht would not move with the tide at all! she has both her bow anchors deployed and constantly is facing one direction. I figure she is using DPS to maintain this fixed position?

    Eclipse propulsion

Does anybody know what kind of propulsion ´Eclipse´ has, with how many and what type of engines and maybe turbines?

    Nice regards to everyone

    Hi,

The info given at that link is currently about as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle for those wanting to know where she is as she is evidently in Barbados and the AIS info is from Las Palmas 7 days ago. A lot can happen to a ship in 7 days least of which is a change of destination.

A link to the Marine Traffic site was posted here: http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/118106-post148.html

This is exactly what AMG tried to explain to you yesterday when you said you wanted to post links to all yachts, they get buried by subsequent posts.

Here are some photos I took...

The first two are very bad photos but I wanted to give an idea of those bright lights I was talking about...even though this really distant shot doesn't give any justice...

ahah! There's a joke! :) and Kevin...for the whole time I was down there, I saw no crew diving off of them :)

At the moment, "Eclipse" has weighed anchors and just finished picking up one of her main tenders. Probably will go underway soon. The seas are swelling quite a bit here. A container ship not too long came in the harbour and attempted to berth and couldn't had to go outside and anchor. Earlier Eclipse was being thrown around out there and had to lift anchors and switch directions. I am wondering if she will come back in...

Now isn´t this a travesty, too big for the ports and too small for the swell...

That swell would have had alot of ships rocking around too. "Eclipse" is big in the yachting world but small in the ocean!

Am I out of touch, or is the height between decks enormous?
