There are different ways to quantify biggest. FLIBS is considered the biggest in-water boat show, but you may find bigger yachts in the med's.
It all depends on how you measure, but I guess it still is FLIBS, Düsseldorf and Genua if you count the number of boats. Monaco have the biggest yachts and Cannes is also growing in size...
I am not shure if Dusseldorf boathsow or from Genua . The dusseldorf boatshow "boot" is the biggest indoor boatshow of the world, with 1,800 boats and 350,000 visitors.
You coming in for the FLIBS Lars? If so, lets meet over some pickled herring and Svensk schnaps on my boat.
Many thanks, but we have the Scandinavian Boat Show in Stockholm coming up, where we plan to introduce our new 54-footer if all bits and pieces work out. It will be the largest powerboat ever at the indoor show, so it is exciting. Perhaps I can attend FLIBS next year, it is a good time to escape the dull weather here...
When are we going to see pics of her? Or did I miss them on here somewhere? I seem to remember the little boat in the big boat pictures.
It looks like she will be a gorgeous boat. Have you sold any(including the smaller ones) on this side of the pond yet?
No, we are not selling overseas yet, just in Scandinavia (including Greenland) and from now also in Greece. I´ll post some more info on this boat in my "designer thread" in about ten days...
Ouch, too cold mate: I grew up in Scandinavia and paid my dues working outside in the winter(s) Never again will I lay down in the snow and ice trying to fit chains on the rear tires of trucks so as to back out of the ditch I just slid into due to nill breaking action. Or clean tanks on chemical tankers crossing the North Sea in the dark winters in hurricane force winds working 24 hrs because of tight schedules. Too frozen and too much work..Palm trees and sunshine in Fort Lauderdale for this Viking. See over here Lars and you will never go back..
