My wife and I just purchased a beautiful 1969 46 roamer. We brought it back from Ohio. We have very little history on her and would love to find out more about her past. The current name is Adair. Does anyone know of this boat.
    Thanks
    Greg

    Greg -
    Welcome to our little club.
Glad you wrote in, and glad you found yourself such a great Roamer. The 46 is a very good looking, roomy yacht.
Need some more details to track her down however.
First off, is she steel or aluminum; does she have an extended hardtop, diesels, etc.
Dont know where all the Roamer went (total of 1961 made), but sometimes you can get lucky.
Would you happen to know her hull#
Steel hulled 46s have the series #'s:
    RAA-46-2001 to RAA-46-2003(1969)
    AL are:
    RAP-46-501 to RAP-46-504(1969)
    RAQ-46-2501 to RAQ-46-2510 (1969)
Do any of the photos below look familiar?
IN any case, keep in touch - there are alot of ROAMERs here!
    Cheers,

    Hi Eric
Thanks for the reply. The last pic with the boat in the slip and the pic with the couple on the bow is the actual boat. She has a steel hull.
Don't have the hull # with me
    Thanks
    Greg

I just happen to come across this post. The Adair was owned by my boss in the 80's and he bought it from the 2nd owner. The first owner was also from the Toledo, Ohio area. I do know allot of the history of this boat.
