MegaYacht Tenders II

Pascoe International will be displaying two of their latest top specification tenders at the upcoming 2009 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).

"Necker Nymph"

I guess this maybe Mr. Branson's latest endeavour. The "Necker Nymph" is billed as...get this, an 'underwater aircraft'. It is really a three-person submarine with seating arranged all next to each other across the frontal beam of the craft. Looks almost like an evolution of the one that "Maltese Falcon" has/had.

"Necker Nymph can glide through the water for trips of up to two hours, performing 360 degree turns and using a downward ‘lift’ on the wings to fly down to depth. The lightweight submarine, designed by renowned engineer Graham Hawkes of Ocean Tehcnologies, glides through the water “like an aeroplane on a runway”.

Necker Nymph is available to hire for guests chartering Richard Branson’s luxury catamaran Necker Belle for an exclusive 7-night hire, or for guests staying at Necker Island. The sub’s weekly rate is US$25,000 a week. Guests will be trained and accompanied by a certified Necker Nymph pilot. Necker Nymph is expected to be delivered on 20th February this year."

While in town last Friday, I saw one of "Callisto's" main tenders heading out of the Careenage inner basin...So I took some pics

I saw T/T Callisto earlier underway along the west coast. The same tender that I captured above. The mother yacht is in Carlisle Bay so the tender is a ways from her.

Glad you like the pics Peter! The tender is a beauty, it was the first time I saw her in person. Good thing I mostly walk with my camera where ever I go.

CakeWalk's Limo fo some reason looks very similar to one that "Al Mirqab" has? Am I right?

I guess that would apply to main tenders like "Moon Goddess" and "Man O' War"...

Maybe I misinterpreted what you said. I thought you meant that the size of the tender was so big that soon the tender would have to get a tender to as well. So I listed 2 X big tenders that I knew of off hand.
