At that time 6'8" and 290 lbs. It did take a lil extra time crawling in & out. I remember ole head-set went behind my head against the seat back, no head room. Rudder stayed trimmed nicely and my toes went under the pedals pretty well. Sometimes it was easier just to tilt a bit to adjust windage when the owner napped. I was younger then without any old man issues as now (6'6" & 280 lbs). Probably the same issues you experience recently. Old farts don't fold up as we did before. Yes, We had to play fuel games because the only weight savings was the lil, skinny owner.
I did, from 2,500 feet up. Wow. How did you manage to crawl around in tight compartments to service engines and systems?
Slowly,,,, sometimes with somebody to pull me back out. Not only has gravity been winning the big fight, abusing my back in bilges has entered me in the next phase of my life; The incredible shrinking man.
This is true, but you identify as Gentleman? That is all it takes Bro. (Did you see the YouTube video of a driver in a traffic stop who identified as a cat? ) https://fb.watch/HAbkZt2OhL/?fs=e
I have kats that drive me,,, around. Drive me crazy. Drive me poor. Drives me OUT of my recliner and pushes me over in MY bed. Takes up the dash in the van or boat. My wife can come closer to identify as a kat on more topics but I can't go there on Carl's shop. I may be pushing Carl to his limits already. Luv ya boss...
Double Trouble: Went for a boat ride today with Capt Ralph on the ICW from Flagler Beach down South and back for an hour, nice weather, nice ride, good company. Then to a nice Mexican joint joint for margaritas, chips and salsa. Yours truly to Port, Capt Ralph to Starboard.
You dudes are looking pretty good these days! Retirement is serving you well. Ok, so maybe we should go back to the chick pictures lol.
Chic Pix? I lost the pictures of us 12 years ago. You were hobbling along in a cast. Need to fix this if we can get south again.
This was a crime that the two of us have been working together for over 21 years and finally get to meet. Nores's wife was supper sweet. Their puppy was supper great. Another great event.
I don't remember posting of my great meet with Pascal last year. What a hero in helping receive a gen-set part while we were anchored off of Elliot Key.
There are other members that know I luv them; A YF brother drops off island rum to us. I don't have a pic of him & wife either. Going to fix that when they make the next drop. Another YF member flies private jets. A couple of years ago he flew into ST Aug and dropped off some nice boats seats. I am very fortunate to have great allies around me. Sadly, I may never meet them in person. I do luv the YF group and proud when I can finally meet some.
AND YES, I luv Carl for putting up with me thru these many years. I can only hope that my contributions help more than distract, from his unique website.
I'm not speaking for Carl, but YF would NOT be YF without you! Your rough edges AND your contributions are an integral part of YF.
