Sanctions on Eclipse must of been lifted because she finally left Turkish waters and is heading to Port Said, Egypt.

This myth has been persistant for years that Eclipse yacht, had anti-missile defenses. Over-exaggerated. One system would be of course high power radar not impossible for a ship to have. I can only imagine what someone like Abramovich has access to thru his connections to the military and leaders like Putin. Im sure any of the rumors are well understated to what a lot of these Russian Yachts carry. It has bulletproof glass/armor plate various sites.
    It does possess Anti-drone systems
    upload_2026-4-12_8-35-53.png

And there were incidents in past were film attempts using drones were counter manned by ship and drones lost control.

By missile detection systems, likely very high power radar, as phased array yields to civilian use.

Abramovich doesn't even own the vessel anymore, as IMO register update shows sold in 2022.
Having military style defense equipment aboard; Pretty sure it would be denied entry to most ports by customs if it did.
Second What 'Defenses" would have. One would be jammers/electronic countermeasures. Such systems usually banned because blocking radar for ships at sea constitute navigation hazard.
This leaves alternative; Soft Kill Countermeasures.
Chaff launchers which fire burst or cloud metal/foil in sky to fool radar guided missiles are Not against the law for civilian ships; Chaff countermeasures are legal for civilian ship sunder international law, provided they do not pose a threat to civilian safety.
Infrared/heat seeking missiles are countered using flares; this presumably also legal. As countermeasures are Not weapons per se. However they usually have to be inspected or secured, since these devices are often fired by launcher tubes or rockets.

But anti-missile, Missiles likely border international law as destructive devices.

I think he still owns it based on the cruising grounds.
