Just installing my new Simrad displays.
Dual NSS12E3s in the lower helm and an ole spare NSS12E2 for the bridge.
Wow; So much more stuff and do-dads that I could imagine, that will take a long time to get used to.
I'm not to impressed with the charts that came installed in the displays.

I know the Explorer charts were the best in the Bahamas but no no plans on returning soon, if at all.
For now, just S/E US coastal and inland cruising.

Anybody have any comments on the better chart chips for the new Simrad NSS stuff?

I like the C map chips, but go to the menu and make sure the chart detail is on full or most......

I use Cmap chips on the Simrads on my 53 as well as on the office’s dinghy. Good details

Looks like the Cmap Revile system works best on the new NSS.
Now looking for a way to save my E120 waypoints/routs on the new NSS system.

Can’t you simply export your data to a card?

    Yes and I have.
Also have the multi USB tool to copy from CF to micro SD.
Simrad will not import any Ray WPT file.

30 year old Rayatheon file technology uses a different file extension and technology than the new Simrad.
I'll be searching the internet tonight for a translator.

Convert the WPT to GPX using GPSBabel. GPSBabel is a free converter...
