    Hello all

was thinking to take my 1995 carver 504 unstabilized from San Diego to zihua and bring back by may.

id hire a professional captain with experience and do as best weather planning as possible.

Doable or forget about it get a different boat ?
It’s just that I already have the boat.

    cheers appreciate the insight !

It’s a long run with few fuel stops from Ensenada to Cabo.

Yup - can take fuel bladders - my trepidation is can the carver 504 take those seas going down and up outside of hurricane season ?

It has the Cummins diesels right? Doable, yes. Comfortable, likely not. My thoughts would be having the right spares and ability to work on the engines for that 700 mile stretch. Would need to plan fuel wisely and check early about refueling at Mag Bay and Turtle Bay.

My friend is a captain that’s done the Baja Bash several times if you need a contact based in San Diego.
