I'm trying this topic again with a better title to hopefully get more response. Do we have anyone on here with good La Paz or Loreto Mexico info? I'm now about 90% certain I'm moving my boat to this rejoin in the near future. I've researched quite a bit but still hoping for good first hand knowledge. I'm looking for everything on marina input to repair yards, hurricane prep planning to fishing tips and tackle needs. I've gotten some good info and hoping for more.

That’s funny, I just found their videos last night. I’m in La Paz now. The boat is scheduled to arrive here Tuesday on the transport ship. A day to fuel and provision then I’m planning to make the uphill run to Loreto on Wednesday. It’s been several months of planning, prep and headaches. But hopefully now we can start to enjoy the new adventure.

Time fly's, seems like you just started researching the move. Good luck to you on Tuesday.

Seems like it has been forever. Shipping, which should have been straightforward and easy, turned out to be a real challenge. And I have learned some real valuable lessons on customs and immigration (Canadian, US and Mexico). I’ll post more later after I’m safely in the new location. I don’t want to jinx anything

We spent 6mos in La Paz in y2k on our 70 ft MY at Marina LaPaz, loved it, friendly and close to town, good mchanics hard to find but general shipyaed stuff was ok.
I see things may have changed in the area so cannot advise on current conditions.
