Ah, saw a little (3') shark yesterday cruising the mangroves. Pretty sure not a bull. Nice brown cruising the shallows.
Thru my diving years, I learned that sharks were pretty cool.
Just don't tic them off or excite them and nobody gets eaten.

All of those shark shows on TV when the big asp shark is trying to bite the back of the boat and divers cage,,, Nobody talks about the 110 gallons of cow blood and guts they dumped into the ocean to attract the sharks from miles aweigh.
Sharks senses are rather keen and when swimming in blood, it's like us guys with a set of vice-grips clamping tightly on our sacks.
Yep, you would be excited then also....

So, don't tic them off by getting close to their nurseries (most bull shark encounters), spooking them, feeding them or pouring in 110 gallons of cow blood and guts.

My last dive on the Anna off of Jax many years ago, a pair of large sand-tiger sharks were with us. Usually never this far south.
Beautiful beast. Big asp teeth. We did not bother them on the port side, they did not bother us on the stb side.

Yeah, sharks are cool and I don’t bug them either..
Om the other hand they can come out of nowhere and eat you alive like the poor woman snorkeling at Rose Island near Nassau who was attacked by 2 tigers in 2019.
(My old hangout, we used to spend the night at Rose and go snorkeling)
Another women was killed in Bimini recently from a shark attack, plenty in Florida as well, like a 9 year old girl bitten last week and almost lost her hand.
No report of 110 gallons of cow blood in either of those cases.

I was busy diving in the Caribbean , the Red Sea, Florida, etc and have seen friendly sharks but realizing by now that my white belly may be a tempting target for hungry fishes so I uh, stay more above the water line and do my best keep out of the evening news, getting old I guess, but glad I had fun in my younger days and got away without even one friendly bite.

    Mystery solved….
Since I joined Yacht Forums eons ago my middle name has been trying to post pictures that are too large, as in way over the 1.3 mg limit and I get one of these

    IMG_8605.jpeg

(Also a few warnings from admin o_O)

Many times I have forwarded the large (too large) picture to a friendly mod who said: This is ok, NOT too big..

Tried this one today before the video was posted:

    IMG_8603.jpeg

On my screen it showed as 5,3 mb, way too big for this site.
Sent to myself over the Apple email system, iCloud and it formatted automatically to an acceptable format.
Problem solved, stand by for many more pictures, with and without bikinis..:D

    Test, test.
Looks like a classic Harley with a springer front end fork, but an open drive from the crank to the tranny.
A custom build, or a modified classic? ;)

Looks like you re using an apple product. When you click on upload > choose picture before selecting the picture click on the circle icon and in the next screen choose small or medium. Your image will automatically be sized down.

The location above, Salty Rim, is a brand new hotel and bar here at my new hometown Flagler Beach, FL.
I took the above picture after lunch yesterday: Peel and eat Old Bay shrimp and a Premium Margarita. Great concept, great idea but not impressed.
The $11.00 margarita was lame, no flavor, no after taste and not much tequila.
Same with the $16.00 shrimp plate, pretty lame no flavor, no nothing.
Too bad, I won’t go back, not recommend.
