    Eagle Eyes for sure…

The Reflection is a nice, clean and comfortable mega ship but too big for us, too many people.
Anybody tried the Sea Dream cruises? They call themselves Mega Yacht boats or some such thing.
Checked prices today $4,100 each for a week in the Caribbean, but all inclusive, no need for no Drink-Package and no need for no Gratuity @ $18 a day for each, etc.
That being said, we liked this cruise a lot, just not exciting especially with “A Perfect Day at CoocCay”, horrible idea turning a beautiful Bahamian Island into a cheap Las Vegas..

So, was it Moo, or Baa? as the herds were moved about?
You want a nice vacation? Get back in a single couple cruiser.

Will stay lazy and let staff on big boats spoil me from now on.
    Stay tuned:)

Smaller cruise ships then or even chartering (crewed or not).
Probably the only cruise ship in our future is the lil coastal & river boats.
    One even stops in Palatka.

Great idea Capt Ralph: You have an empty cabin on your boat?
Don’t mind fixing breakfast, pouring Prosecco and telling jokes, if so, sign me up, thanks Bro.:D

You missed this boat while you were out on that cattle ship..

Left Ft Pierce an hour ago. Currently offshore, heading 120°m to an old fishing spot and into Lake Worth tonight.

I can see the appeal of the cruises but I am not ready to give up my little boat. I don't think I would like the volume of people on a cruise but my friends love them, both the ships and river boats.
we do prefer the ability to come and go as we please.

I have to rent my boat next week because of termites. They can on board inside the plywood I got from a local lumber yard (Shell Lumber) as I only see droppings near new wood. The 55 year old Hatteras plywood doesn’t seem to appeal to them …

As to cattle ships, I think it would take $1000 a day for me to get on one of them.

Yes, I agree 110% and I had planned to keep my small inboard diesel cabin boat for the foreseeable future, then plans changed and we moved to North Florida and built a house on a marina but sailed the boat up this way too, 4 days on the ICW, all good.
After a few months I realized there is not any cruising grounds around here and too far to run to the Bahamas and the Keys..

Still loved my boat but with the maintenance and upkeep on this boat and nowhere to go I said to hell with it and put her up for sale, a local guy on the Albin Owner forum knew the boat from all my projects including improvements, repairs and upgrades and came running with money in hand.
Easy sale, but I cried on the inside, this was my retirement boat, all dressed up and nowhere to go including Stidd chairs, new electronics and a nice running Yanmar with all the maintenance records.

Water under the bridge, I booked a trans Atlantic cruise this fall on a small cruise ship instead this fall, should be pampered and they even call it a Yacht, must be good.

I remember years ago some charter company with a pair of square riggers.
You could ride as a spoiled passenger, or you could ride and help the ship. Actually participate in some ship operations.
    Find this brother Norse.

Thanks Bruh and you be right, the above almost crossed my mind but growing lazier by the day.
I decided to participate in the ship operations only by laying around the side deck, in the shade, with slow music playing, surrounded by bikini girls offering umbrella drinks and lobster cocktails to keep me focused on staying awake.
    My kind of cruise.

    BORING...
You can't touch the service. Only so much adventure in a bug or cocktail.

Ha, be open minded C.R., luxury is not boring, but it does make you soft and lazy over time.
I will take it, been rock hard and overworked all my life, now I do nothing and plan to enjoy it.

    Brother Norse
If it's good for you; Go for it.
Were beating S-SE winds leap frogging down the coast to the bottom.
Visited a great friend in New Smyrna.
Caught up with a friend and toasted, as he headed out to Great Harbor Cay while in Ft Pierce.
Finally caught up with an ole friend while anchored south of Peanut Island today.
He helped re-provision our special refreshment inventory. (Dam Kat been tilting more again).
Hope to catch up with others as we hop further down. Then, visit more back up.
Can't do this on a cattle ship.

As Brother Chesapeake46 mentioned, Luv to come & go as we please.

Also for us, rewarding that our 47 year old boat shows off her luv, running so well for us and taking care of us in some wind & seas.
Oh did I mention were dragging this Mako 17 (brick).
    Yep, always an adventure.

No adventures on a cattle ship when you can't touch anything .
