Another build just launched from the SLOB facilities identified as Project 715. This one is for Feadship and is 79.50-meters long. The vessel will have a 2,025 GT volume and spread across 5 decks. Propulsion will be diesel-electric batter solar. Apparently this will permit the vessel to run for 2 days straight without producing any carbon emissions. General details are being kept under wrap. Looks like Feadship will be launching 715 tomorrow. She has a pennant number 97 on the bow like a warship.
I’m looking forward to seeing her tomorrow. So many Feadship launches but still haven’t shown off the interior of one in a while. I suppose we received some on the three hulls that became for sale in build but not the actual end result.
I been wondering myself. Probably a special number to the owner. It has what Feadship terms as a 'dreadnought bow'...which as we know is an old time battleship from the early 1900s. So maybe the owner just put a pennant number to add to the Naval theme...has to have some significance though. "At nearly 80-meters with a steel ice-class hull, "VALOR" is primed for the world’s most remote frontiers. She’s powered by a pioneering hybrid diesel-electric, solar and battery system, one of the most advanced ever launched by Feadship, with enough clean energy to cruise in zero-emission mode for 48 hours."
