Greetings, I was just over in Bimini this week and ran across this boat at the BBGC. I never ran into the owner and couldn’t find any markings. I would love to identify the hull. I really liked the length and layout.

Interesting... could it be a old sportfish chopped into a CC? Been done with express. Low freeboard though.

Based on the old Carry hull. Black Finn purchased the molds and continued until the Combi's came out.
But that is the original Carry design.
    Dam sure still looks good.

Looks like a 29' Strike that has been re powered with outboards. Most came with twin diesel inboards.

I've never seen one with the bracket and outboard setup pictured above.

Yeah, you're right. I used to own a 26' Strike, it was an incredible boat with a great ride.

I have to give the prize to cnvsBack. A few googles show similar hulls. A really slick combo. Thanks guys. Several for sale on YachtWorld. Never seen any of these running around Carolina.

I've run several Black Fins, not one of them. A Cary is a good call.

I owned the mold keeper from Cary 32 to Black Finn 32. Serial number 000. It was the boat show boat display with chromed out Crusaders.
When B Finn started their Combi, The Cary design was dropped like hot lead.
Shame, It was a darn nice Deep V.
Years before this, I was looking at a Cary 29. Twin Mopar 440s.
Both of these boats were dual consoles built over the engine boxes.
I did see later other builds, built on this design and all gutted out, a CC with an outboard bracket.
Very similar to the OP pic.
Usually the Salt Shaker tower was re-used (duha).
Talking about a real Deep V. Rode like driving the back side of a steak knife. At speed, if anybody sneezed, you had to adjust the trim tabs.
I miss my 32 and know where she is. I'd luv to have her back.

WellCraft also copied the Cary 29 in their Scarab 29 CC. Just reduced the dead-rise in the asp and offered a pad like Fountains did. Also lightened it up a great bit.

The Black Fin 28' was probably the the best fishing platform I've ever run.
