I am closing on a 1994 Viking 57' Extended Aft Deck Motor Yacht, hull #7, at the end of this week. I am looking for the any original brochures, spec sheets, magazine articles and option price sheets for this vessel. The Viking Specifications flyer has, on the cover, a profile line drawing of the vessel. I really need that as I want to order stadium cups with that profile and the name of the vessel imprinted on the cups. I hope some collector can help me. I am willing to pay a fair price for an original or offer a hardy "Thank You" for a legible copy. I sold new Vikings in N.Y. & FL in the 90's and 2000's, fell in love with the Viking re-due of the Gulfstar Motor Yacht. Retired now and decided to take the leap and get back into boating. I am so kicking myself for not saving the information I am now searching out.

Congratulations on the new boat. Any graphics place can use a photo of your boat and turn it into a line drawing to use on shirts and cups, etc...

Thanks, I will get on that as that takes care of my most pressing need. I will still be looking for original or good copies of brochures, spec sheets and price lists.

Thank you, That is the only article I have seen to date. My son-in-law sent it to me when we were still in negotiations for the vessel. I am amazed at the response so far to my post. Thanks again.

Ok this made me really laugh. Your buying a fantastic boat and your most pressing need is printed stadium cups with the boat name on them. That's some funny stuff right there! Sorry, hopefully laughing with you and not at you.

    Glad to have helped.
Actually, I compressed the file before uploading it, because the original was above the forum size limit.
I can email it if you PM me your address, but don't expect the difference to be night and day.
The original is just a little bit sharper.

I understand and thanks. The world needs more humor. I know it is a fantastic boat. And I do have a prioritized list of what we will do once we have it here. However, once it arrives here there are over 100 "close friends" ;) and relatives  who want to see her, even before her name is painted on the transom. I have to offer them something to drink and therefore MUST have Stadium Cups!!!

Thanks Anthony, I know, she was the best Viking Motor Yacht on the market from 55 - 63'. I really wanted a 63 and have since they were built (late 80's to mid 90's) but could not find one that measured up so we did pull the trigger. We couldn't be happier! We named her La Bella Vita.

At what point did Viking start building their own MYs in NJ? I was under the impression Lazzara built them in Tampa up to the mid/late 90s when Viking turned to Princess.

If memory serves me correctly; Viking started building their version "Motor Yacht" in N.J. and called them Viking Sport Yachts in 1992. They were build in 2 lengths, a 54' and a cockpit version a 60' was added in 1994 and continued building them through the 2001. They were much faster than the style MY built in FL as they were built on basically a sport fish hull design. The 54' with 820 MAN's cruised at 24 kts and with 1050 MAN's 26 kts. The 60' with 1050 MAN's cruised at 25 kts and with 1200 MAN's 28 kts (32kts WOT). Going back older, the 1980's, Viking built in NJ, what was referred to back then, a double cabin Motor Yacht in both a 44' and a 50' with a cockpit.
