Marine & Volvo surveyors in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area?

    Might need a marine surveyor and a Volvo specialist (likely best would be a servicing dealer).

    Not sure yet exactly where the target boat lives; guessing one of the canals in places like Aventura, Hollywood, Dania, maybe even Ft. Lauderdale...

    Can anyone nominate favorites in the area?

    Charles Weldon World Yacht Survey
    I used JAS Marine the Volvo dealer in that area years ok with satisfactory results.

    Florida Nautical Surveyors. I am recommending Malcolm Elliot and his team, not just because there have been many anonymous informative posts on YF, but because I have used and/or recommended Malcolm for maybe 10 years now with not one client complaint.

    We have used them happily and other captains I know including on this forum have used Malcolm many times and always their first choice of firms.

    I also like Malcolm Elliot and Florida Nautical......for engine survey, I'd use Sun Power, I prefer them over JAS as they seem to meet my schedule a lot more and do a great job.
