2001 Silverton 42 Ft. Opinions?

    So...Looking at a 2001 42FT Silverton convertible.

    Clean boat good price...opinions as to sea worthiness?

    Has blisters along the entire bottom, very rare for a Silverton. Anybody have experience with that?

    Nice boat. Light and fairly quick. It can handle 3'-4' fine. You won't enjoy 6'. Keep in mine it's a convertible, not a SF.

    Who said it was rare? IMO, as bad as the old UniFlights.

    Forgot to mention, the blisters could be as little as a few thousand dollars to tens of thousands, and could leave the boat out of the water drying for a year. So have a professional check them out. Also you don't want just any yard doing the repair.
