I have a client/friend who is determined to get his 54' Ocean Alexander topside Awlgrip painted and has been told that he can get a yacht quality paint job at a great price in Cartagena Colombia. He is headed there now from Panama. Does anyone have any information good or bad? Thanks for any insite.

That's a very long way to go to save a few bucks on a paint job, when Panama isn't that high priced to begin with.

Make sure she's still on her lines and not a half a foot low when you head back. Oh wait, they're repainting it.... hmmmmmm

Because they load something else onto the boat while it's getting painted. Coming back from Colombia, you will surely get boarded and searched completely.
