43ft Hatteras, 6v92ti, 1998. Engines fire right up. No problem. Mtu reading panel reads fine, rps, temps, etc. When trying to engage throttles and gear shift, shifter panel is dead. No indicator lights, nothing. Checked controls in tuna tower, nothing. I'm sure its something simple but cant figure out what it could be.

If I remember correctly, DDEC control panels were usually on their own box and could switch from engine batteries or house batteries for the supply......it's probably on house batteries and your house batteries are bad or dead.

Are your starters 12 or 24 volt? Are you controls 12 or 24? I know they switched to 24v in the later years of the DDEC. My starters are 24v but the DDEC are 12v. If yours are the same you likely have a Vanner or similar 12v power supplying the DDEC's. If this has failed you get no power to the controls. But it's odd that the everything else is fine. You might have a simple blown fuse or bad connection to your station selector switch/activation button.

Didn't one of the other YF members find a bad fuse for the same issue?

Not sure. Checked breaker panel and cant fine anything tripped. Will take tester and see if we're getting power to the selector panel and will go from there. Thanks

Got Ya. But there was a post on this I think about a year ago. Search around here. I think there is a fuse with in the controller it's self ? I think ? But there was a post here somewhere .

I have one helm station and good old cables to control my DDs . Less chance of failure , cables that is. But it sounds like you have three stations ...yikes! Lots of stuff needed to control the engines.
