Tariq, what's the paperwork like to make passage through there? Used to a sodding nightmare.

Hi Fish. Passing the Suez Canal is still a process especially for small yachts (anything below 400GT) but it is quite straight forward if you are working with a clever agent and you are familiar with the procedures and required steps. If you ever need help or support for crossing the Suez Canal, please let me know.

Thanks, always nice to see Amevi! She looks good from any angle and I think she is the best design to come out from both Oceanco and from Nuvolari Lenard...

Met today the 50m ice-class expedition yacht I NOVA in Athens. She is really an impressive yacht.

The Ute up on the boat deck looks to have some very serious comm. gear aboard by the looks of all the antenna's on that aft spoiler / arch . Looks to be a long whip laying fwd. over the hood for a HF or MF set also. I guess the Ute is set for exploration to match the yacht. I've worked on vessels in the past with auto's aboard and was always amazed that the owner was willing to pay an import duty on it in multiple times in multiple countries whenever it was lowered onto the dock for use. You would start with a $20,000 dollar jeep and two yrs in you wound up with a $120,000 dollar jeep from all the import duties paid! Of course this was a few years back so I don't know if its the same way outside of EU countries nowadays .

It is not a utility vehicle. It looks like one from a distance, it is her tender. Here's a better picture I found online which shows her tenders:

Ok, Thx. Great optical illusion as it even looks like two wheel wells visible from the first pictures. Both tenders look purpose built and both resemble Defender Marines offerings? Mother ship looks to be well thought out with the large davit on the centerline aft where it can work both port and starb as well as the stern.

We passed the Corinth Canal today which connects the Greek Aegean and Ionian seas. Our first stop after the passage was the small town of Galaxidi.
