Bertram fiberglass fuel tank

    Hi, anyone out there know if Bertrams fiberglass fuel tanks can still be used with Ethanol free gas after they have been contaminated with Ethanol?

    What color is the tank? Green tank is questionable, red tank is good.
    If green tank, open up the devices plate and reach the bottom . Wipe with a small rag to collect a sample. If sticky, it's trash.
    Anything in your primary fuel filters?

    Tank is a pinkish clear color, all other fiberglass color on Stringers and bottom of Hull is green. Repowered, 0 hours right now. I got rid of all the old parts before getting the info about these tanks. Thanks for the help, I will check out your suggestions and see what I find.

    If it's pink to red, your good. Call Hide Tide Marine in Marathon Fl. They support Bertrams. Give them your HIN, they can verify the tank also. I'm sure your good.
