Proxy, VPN, Tor, other privacy measures could cause that too but I'm not the seasoned sailor when it comes to spotting the fake accounts. I'm the guy who's yelling "Land Ho!" but it turns out just to be the bow of the ship while I'm drunk on rum.

Yet to be confirmed but it looks like OceAnco's "Equanimity" is among the superyachts being exhibited during the Monaco Yacht show 2014!

I know we're supposed to focus on the vessels here and not the owners, but this guy and his money/spending are a fascinating story. Recommend looking it up if you have 15 minutes and want to be entertained. I won't post links here, but it's easy to find though.

I’d just suggest moving it to the correct thread as this is for Sunrays.

An update on Equanimity. She just arrived in Malaysia and will be inventoried for sale.

I’m hoping that this will mean that we will see the interior for the first time as they prep it for sale. I’d imagine that it might be in the same state as Bacarella was back when she was auctioned off. The media is claiming a value of $250m that they are trying to recover. This is, of course, over inflated and I’d imagine it being worth $200m in a maintained position and much less if it has been ignored for months.

She is now listed for sale with Burgess. The sale will be an auction and will most likely have a new owner before 2019.

The media keeps reporting a $250m value that they are trying to recover. I believe she originally sold for €175m so quite the stretch. Even more so, if she is sold at an auction, I would expect a pretty low sales price.

What she sells for will depend upon what condition its in and how badly they want it. An auction can and does often result in a fever pitch that jams up the price of many things. Boats are no exception.

I agree I’m expecting to see a low sales price but like K1W1 said it will depend on how bad someone wants it so we will see
