Why do so many people who have bought a PC 60 sell them after a short time.I know they are becoming dated-especially the interior -a 2010 looks the same as 2018

What are you basing your comment on in terms of stating they sell them after a short time. I'm not aware of that.

There are many folks who want to fulfill a cruising dream, then move on to the next adventure. In the case of Horizon's cats, I believe the initial demand created a wait list, which was in part due to our coverage of the PC58 that resulted in multiple sales...

The demand allowed some owners to cash out before new and used inventory caught up with the market. These opportunities are rare, but Horizon built a boat that checked a lot of boxes. Regarding the interiors becoming dated... my personal opinion is the layouts and finishes were so widely accepted, why mess with success?

I thought the Horizon PC yachts are semi custom? I know on the PC 74 they used J.C Espinosa for the interior design.

Every semi-custom builder defines it differently. The joke about Hatteras use to be, "They're custom. They'll let you choose the color of your upholstery." Well, they allow more flexibility than that but their customization is very limited. Westport is standard in structure and mostly in equipment, but within the interior you can do what you want in each space. However, in reality, you'll see the differences generally limited to colors and furniture and interior design. Horizon is one that will allow you to do as you wish inside, but mostly they come out very much the same, from boat to boat.

The problem maybe too many oldies buy them .If I had the money I'd buy a PC60 but would not want an all white hull and the interior colours would be more towards Sunreef styling. I like the styling of the sailing catamaran "Cartouche ".

I think that may give a clue. I don't know this with certainty but then some of those were leased or sold and in the charter fleet, but never really outside the realm of the Powercat Company so not like sales as we generally think of them. Also, note that 4 of the 6 shown are sold. Note that most never make it to Yacht World but are simply rotated within the Powercat Company world.

I'm getting a bit disappointed with Horizon. The new 70 odd footer has a lot more space--what to do?-fill it up with storage that they'll probably not need and toss in an extra fridge. I watched a video review and it obvious the reviewer was frustrated when he kept saying"more storage" ,"more storage".

I've never seen a home buyer or boat buyer complain about having too much storage.
