This week's little job finished at lunchtime today.

A Jersey Cyfish 32 fastfisher came over on Tuesday morning. Hauled her out and power-washed, then pulled the old engine, an early Iveco 6.7 350hp. Cleaned the engine room and re-wired it, new batteries. Fitted a new autopilot system while we could get access. Polished the hull, antifouled it and new anode studs then fitted, bonded them. Fitted new Iveco FPT 350hp engine and gearbox, aligned it to the shaft. Re-plumbed fuel filter, hydraulic winch pump and deckwash pump. Went for sea trials this morning. Not a bad 3 1/2 days work with just 3 of us.

    Commercial fishermen don't like down-time.

Meh, back to the normal Volvo stuff Monday morning. Moaning yacht owners who don't understand engineery things.

Ralph, as I've said before; get us a Green Card and we could clean-up in JX.

I was trying to find the words to invite you kids over to these swamps.
But alas, no green anything in my pockets.

    I have not a clue.
What does it take to get you kids in the states, Jax?
