Came across this RO system the other day. It was working last year till it was pickled. Complete with raw water pickup pump, pressure pump, 3 x 20" membranes , fresh rinse controller, main controller box, 2 big raw water filters, tubing, hoses, valves and strainer. I have the manual. There are no warranties. This is used and sold "AS IS". It's in Jax FL 32210. Somebody make me a reasonable offer and come pick it up. Draining the last of the pickle solution, packaging, shipping and my time could get expensive by itself and must be considered beyond the purchase price..
Yes I do. Still sitting in the shop where I piled it up. I've been planing to retire my Rich system and install it in our Bert. Just never enough hours in a day to get to it 4 (5 gal) pails of oil still sitting next to my boat awaiting my oil change and a vacation. Vacation was to start before May. You think you need a water maker?
You just need to block out your schedule as if it's a client for yourself and stick to it.......Generally things are slow this time of year, except this year....I'm absolutely swamped......
Two long time customers purchased larger (used) boats. long punch list and upgrades ahead. I have near unloaded my van into one boat and have my groceries in the fridge. I'm 4 to 6 weeks out. My allies are the same.
We are buying a Hatteras 65'C. And would like to put a water maker in her. In fact, we are going to keep her at Huckins for a good while. So we can yell at each other. Likely be right next to you.
On a 65' Hatteras I'd want a 50 gph watermaker. The 65' Hatteras holds an ungodly amount of water......around 450 gallons for that size SF
No, I like to fill the water tank while on generator and moving from one island to another......If you're the anchoring type yeah you can leave the watermaker running for hours and hours......but then everytime someone takes a shower or does a load of laundry it sets you back an hour with a 30 GPH.......The 65' Hatteras has a 450 gallon water tank.......if you want to fill 360 gallons of it, that's 12 hours with a 600 gpd.....far too long and that's if nobody is using any water......with 6 guests, you just keep going backwards with a 600 gpd........most of the yachts I run around 65' only hold 200-300 gallons......so can fill the entire tank in 4 hours +/- even if just moving from island to island.
