But both builds are by the same designer, same project manager, and same size. Seems likely to me that they have multiple project names as it evolves.

Yes, maybe you are right. But if so, the original renderings of Palo Alto look more interesting to me, than the ship which was launched.

Since she is a Andrew design and is going to be launched again in 2018 it is pretty obvious that this is project Palo Alto. Even thought she appears to be somewhat different than the renderings suggested.

Btw a magazine confirmed that project Redwood is indeed going to be the successor of Quattroelle.

Lets talk about the owner of Project Jupiter. The Lürssen press release was very interesting. The owner already has a yacht with extraordinary design and Jupiter will impress the Hollywood crowd. That doesn't sound like an owner from the Middle East. Maybe from the US?

    Ideas anyone?

Style wise, Project Jupiter has many facets that Palladium has even down to the similar colour patterning.

I haven't heard of Palladium being for sale and I'm not sure the connection with Hollywood.

Well, she doesn't have to be for sale I think? The only connection that I can think of with Hollywood is Steven Spielberg's Seven Seas built by Oceanco. There were rumours that he was selling it because he thought it was to small.

What about the current owner of Rising Sun....he has connections to Hollywood. I would consider RS more of an extraordinary design than Seven Seas

He got rid of Pelorus as well. Those are two iconic yachts that were previously owned.

I would wonder why he'd be downsizing 15 meters and why there is so little deck space on board... I noticed some similarities between the rendering for New Kingdom 5KR and Jupiter... but Jupiter being a successor is unlikely...

Realistically, the owner doesn't matter too much. It just dictates whether it will just be in the Middle East or seen throughout the Med and Caribbean and may serve as an indication if we will see more into the interior of the yacht.

Agreed... I personally don't wish to know the owners identify (As yacht owners are people too and have a right to their privacy), but I do enjoy seeing the design changes the owners make from yacht to yacht...

I agree that TIS is Palo Alto, in retrospect the renders of Palo Alto released previously actually looked out of proportion for a 111m- the helicopter and associated facilities made it look much larger than 111m.

I seem to remember a 50 meter Feadship owned by an American that was sold a few years ago of the same name
