50 PSi oil pressure is to be proud of. WOW..
Now you can experiment if the engine can run with the wire disconnected of if you can use a spare sender as Skippy J recommends.

I have a Kohler 11kw on a yacht I manage where the 2 wires and terminal ends fell off the raw water flow sender. It wouldn't allow it to crank, I had to connect the wires till it started but then disconnect them right after it started for it to stay running that day. Not sure if Pascals work the same way.

Old Kohler's were nightmares waiting for a victim.
I had a bad oil pressure switch on my BMZ/Isuzu 30 get flaky, thought I was fighting a fuel problem till I pulled the pressure switch wire.

Now we know we have a great 50 psi, we can experiment; Pull the wire and see if it runs, If not, short to ground and test again.
It's always good to know what field patch can keep something running.

I have already purchased a full set of sensor and switches for gennies, in addition to the usual belts, impellers etc... Even a raw and fresh water pump.

Last trip to the Exumas, spent 2 nights docked out of 5 weeks.... Gensets have to work :)
