Hi guys, sailed last night from Manila yacht club to Puerto galera. We left around 0030 and arrive in Puerto galera around 0830. Total distance is around 95nm. We ran average 11 knots at 1300 rpms. Estimated fuel consumed 1000 liters. Next destination I will try to run at 1,000 rpms. So far no issues.

I've not been out on one, but the more I see and hear about Neptunus, the better I like them. They have some very nice features that set them apart a bit.

If you're running at 1300 rpm's, you might as well run at cruise. 1000 rpms or below is considerably more fuel efficient.

Sorry for the late reply guys. Been out at sea most of the time with no or slow internet. Capt J, i found out that 1,300 rpms was not getting me there because the running gears were fouled up with fishing nets and nylon rope cords.

So far its been a 1:1 ratio. I usually slow cruise at 900 plus rpms getting 9+ knots and fast cruise at 2000 rpms or 20 kts. But there is so much difference between 900 and 2000 rpms when it comes to fuel to miles ratio.

I also emailed Neptunus and found out that my new to me boat was built in 1997 not 1999. A lot of electrical work has to be done on the boat. I will try my best to update you guys. But in this neck of the woods, internet is not always very good.

    Best Regards to everyone,

    Lits
