Thanks for the beautiful shots, especially the interesting angles in last one!

Any chance you got any pics after she had picked up speed?

    New Zealand visit

"A" steamed into Auckland today. Apparently will have some work done including dry docking in preparation for a NZ cruise with her owners aboard afterwards. Maybe I could be invited along to suggest suitable fishing spots? Yeah right!

That is not the only big yacht to arrive in last couple of days, I understand PACIFIC the Lurssen yacht has also arrived in AKL.

Yeah, that's why I shared it. I wonder if it was a crew member that was controlling the drone from onboard or if it was someone on one of those jetskis seen in the video far off her port side.

From the other vids the author has posted I don't think it was crew, in which case they were lucky the camera survived the anti-paparazzi laser that A is rumored to engage every now and again.

Anti Paparazzi laser? So I guess you shouldn't fly drones around "Pelorus" then? :)

I mis-spoke, it was actually Eclipse that received all the anti paparazzi laser press
but I would not be surprised if the technology is deployed on other yachts as well!

The good news is since it only works against cameras with charge-coupled devices you can still have at it with your good old fashioned Kodak Brownie!!

Nice, you have any other photos of "A" you would like to share with us? If you do, remember photos are to be 640X480.
