I kept the original as is. I would have put Russian Standard Platinum or Tito's instead, but the names are not as important as the sound and the state of mind. :) Besides, my job is to make it shiny and always functional!

New Groco 1.5 inch raw water strainer installed for the gen set, along with a larger 1 inch output hose to the water pump. It mounted a bit differently than the older unit so the project involved a bit of engineering. New stuff and projects to keep her in tiptop shape happen everyday.... Next is new raw water intake hoses for the stbd main- 2.5 inch hose to be installed tomorrow.

New raw water hoses for the stbd main. I had to wrestle the five and six foot black pythons off the engine and put the new ones on, lol. New T-bolt clamps all around.

Sitting next to us is a just delivered Viking 66. The owners and I ended up having a beer the second day; super people. His first comment to me was very complimentary about how sharp the Donzi looked. :) Makes me feel good when a owner of a brand new boat says my boat "pops".
They gave me a tour and it was very well laid out and I certainly like the 66 with the day head right inside the salon door- special order. It did seem smaller everywhere- a bit smaller salon and smaller staterooms and crew, smaller bridge but larger engine room. Great crew and captain as well. It's nice to have good neighbors, even if they only stayed for a short time.

New Lumitec lights facing aft and new Ocean LED facing down. One coat of Sea Hawk Cukote black. White TriLux on the tabs, rear struts and rudders. New ME raw water intake screens and all scoops were dropped and cleaned properly. I had the hull buffed and the 11 year old Imron looks awesome.

I removed the old and installed the new lights while Viking staff and it's preferred hull detailer Bruce did the rest.

Late to the party; Could you please fill me in a little?
Looks like 2 1/2 " or larger shafts. What power & reduction?
Seems the diameter of the wheels is lacking.
We're on a 58 Bert with 650 hp and spin 32 x 30 wheels. Would guess you would be close to that or larger. Maybe I can not see the correct reference in the pictures but your diameter looks closer to 25"

Not commenting anything S/A, just asking and trying to learn some things.

    Thx,
    rc
