    Hello All,

Can anyone recommend an appropriate vessel monitoring system for a 74 Sunseeker Predator?

I am looking at systems like Krill, Gost, Maritron...

    Much appreciated!

What do you need to monitor on a 74' Sunseeker that you need an electronic monitor for? The sunseeker has the voltage of everything right next to the helm. The voltage for a/c and d/c, the engine stuff has gauges for everything on the helm and the water tank level. I've had nothing but issues with Maretron systems once they've gotten a few years old, as well as all of these other electronic monitoring systems as well as the much more simple Sea ray and Hatteras monitoring systems. Luckily I'm in Fort Lauderdale where Bob Maretron is right around the corner, but anywhere else in the country or world and it would be a total nightmare for servicing it. Give me an actual analog gauge that works all of the time as long has it has electricity to it, any day. If these systems were so great, manufacturers would be installing them at the factory, but nobody is.

I agree with the KISS approach. But if you are just looking to monitor it as a security measure I'd go with GOST.

Thanks for a bit of feedback. The goal is to install a system that will notify us if anything were to happen while we are away from the boat.

I can monitor all systems while on board the vessel, but I need something I can use, and communicate with from a different location. i.e... high water level, power monitoring (shore,12v,24v), security, smoke/fire. I would like to able to txt/call the system to get updates from anywhere.

I've been in contact with associates from GOST, this seems to be an appropriate and simple system. Does anyone know much about GOST?

Hi there! I just posted inquiring about a monitoring system for our 68'Lazzara. What did you learn and decide on?
