Not any more! The helicopter stayed on the Isle of Man register for one day (paperwork exercise...) and is now on the register in Monaco. The only photo I have found so far with its latest registration (at Harlingen on 2nd April) here is not clear enough, but it could be 3A-MGU (certainly the "3A-M..." part is guaranteed for Monaco).

This photo is from the test flight phase at the Eurocopter plant at Marignane nr Marseilles. The French test registration is in the pilot's door window, and the M-MMGU registration has a lne through it to show it is not current. The logo is clear!

I'm sorry, I've seen your post but I couldn't recognize neither the logo nor the (old) tail number on david's website.

Actually yesterday on the photo on david's site, the Logo was very clear but when I checked back it seemed that the image was altered to tak out the logo or something because I know my eyes are not decieving me.

I think it is time for the thread title to be updated to include "Madame GU" now she has officially revealed that. The yacht REALLY looks good! there is so much to look at, all the doors, the hatches, the details, the colour (different), I like that tent, awning system they had up on the fore deck.

Very complicated yacht. Especially the helicopter hangar: hope to see an aerial shot of that construction, open and close. Perhaps Feadship can release an official photo?

I like the name of the yacht, much better than the usual Lady this or Lady that. Well chosen font too imo.

As for the font, it doesn't look too complicated, because this yacht is FILLED with so many fine details to look at, it is good they didn't go overboard with the name plate.

    Interesting underwater body

Interesting naval architecture on the underwater body of "Dream".

Very large strakes to support the stabilizers on their hard work (round bilge hull ?). Highly skewed variable pitch propellers. That is the trade off, if you are using higher RPM, therefore lighter, diesel engines (like the MTU 20V 4000 M73 or 73L, 3200 KW at 1950 RPM / 3600 KW at 2050 RPM). With the typical torque curve of this type of engine, a high tech VPP is advisable, in order to run economically at lower speed and still capable of higher speeds (may be 20 Kts+). But most interesting for me is the positioning of the rudders offset and outside to the propeller centerline. Looks like some thorough tank testing.

Nice pollution control of the yard. Collection of coolant water from the engine room (probably wet exhaust from a genset) while running them on the hard.

Very nice yacht. One of those very capable yards from northern Europe.

"Madame GU's" SOLAS rescue tender by Pascoe International. It's the one stored behind that 'gold' grate hatch on the mid upper portside deck.

You may have a glimpse at "Madame GU's" limosine in the port-side garage on David's website.
