I figured so, similar to "Serene's" lighting system.

But I have for a long long time. I have seen the ship gleaming and flashing in rainbows colours, even the Topaz letterings are blinking and can be illuminated like the starry sky.

There is a new pic in her MT profile, she has at least three balconies and two tender hatches at each side, very impressive. She will arrive in Gibraltar in 13/14 hours... Gibdan keep your eyes open!
I do not post a link as there are enough links in this threads and I do not want to fload it.

That latest shot is a pretty nice one especially from that distance. "Topaz" has quite alot of shell doors, hatches, balconies and all of them fold back flush with the structure! She is not a bad looking large yacht at all.

Interestingly it looks like she has a large/long passerelle in her swum platform similar to what "Al Mirqab" has.

Her AIS suggests she is heading to Nice...but will obviously have to pass Gibraltar to get there...she's currently doing just shy of 20-knots. Anyone knows what her top speed is? 21/22 knots?

She's about 250 miles away from Nice now...about 13 hours fast running. She's just off the border of France. Those French members, get you cameras ready!

    TOPAZ made it to Nice!

Here are a few shots taken a few minutes ago in Nice, yacht is fueling and loading quiet a lot of stuff. Font of her name reminds me of KOGO...

Welcome to YF, Adrien!! Exeptional photos thanks, look at these trucks and right next to her... she is sooo huge - insane!
I guess in these containers are the packages of the decorations... that is not unusual for these yachts, for example on "Al Mirquab" they had 30 trucks for the decoration and they needed 5 trucks just for the packages. She was decorated during her maiden Voyage.

Thank you Adrien for the great photos.

If you check Marinetraffic, it seems that the yacht has been doing some testing this afternoon with leaving and entering the harbour at Nice again and again.

The bow railing went missing. So a helicopter must have landed on Topaz.

And the astern railing is still deinstalled and other things aren't obviously finished. That means the works on Topaz are still continuing. And this is the reason for the containers. And of course thirst and hunger of all the very nice people and the beautiful girls on board.

Well as far as I could see she entered Nice without the bow rails installed so i do not think it is a case where they went 'missing'. She probably was underway without them installed. As for the Bathing Platform rails, yachts generally do not sail long distances with those custom made highly polished rails inserted. Better to keep them inside until they are ready for them, they will be less cleaning and polishing of them when you do that.

Well, Topaz' bathing platform raiings are not meant to be detachable. They are far too heavy and there is no space aboard for them. I know, that they have been deinstalled for final adjustment and where they are right now.

The bow rails are another system. They were especially made for removal. As one can see on the pictures they look different, they are very easy to de/install and there is absolutely no need to sail without them. Except for helicopter landings.

Somehow I can not stop looking at these pics... she grew on me and I think she is one of the best looking 100m plus yachts!! She is so voluminous but still very very stylish. I do not think her sat domes are that bad anymore...
