    foam

im rebuilding my front windows on the 46. and I was wondering if any one has ever thought about blowing insulation foam up under those front seats? seems this would help stabilize that area for people walking and standing up there any thoughts on this?

    update

Well i broke down and hired someone to rebuild the front windows (above my wood working skills pic to follow ) did get some repainting done today but ended up hating the color so we are trying again in the morning ... grandparents are working in the master state room ( had to give them a room to redo keeps them young and they have great taste about boat stuff ) still no love on getting the rudders unstuck they worked 3 years ago so I cant figure out why they are so stuck ... I'm putting about 5 hours every night after work in on it and then 8-10 hours on sat-sun so at this pace that is killing me should make up for the time I missed out on over the winter and With some luck should be in the water early July ...

    stuck rudders

I unstuck my rudders by drilling and tapping a 1/8" pipe threads in the bosses. then putting grease zerks in them. first pumped in diesel fuel then grease. A big sledge whacking the aft end got them broke free. DO NOT FORSE THE WHEEL.
