  1. New 24-meter Evo V8 To Launch This Year
A new 24-meter luxury yacht is currently under construction by Evo Yachts and it is called the Evo V8. In certain aspects the 24-meter yacht blends the sailing look of a sailing yacht with the speed of a motor yacht. You might have heard of this vessel previously named as the Velar 78 but the name has been changed to the Evo V8 and will be delivered to her Italian owner this year. It is the first model in the new V line from this yard. In fact, if there is a 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival, it is set to debut at this boat show.
  2. With a design penned by Valerio Rivellini, the Evo V8 design springs from the desire to find the point of intersection between the two worlds of sailing and motor yachts. The aim was to take the best of both and revolutionize the cruising experience. From this view you can understand better how they blended the sailing yacht look into a motor yacht package. The stern resembles that of a sugar scoop entry on catamarans while the exterior helm station looks just like sailing yacht navigation stations positioned on both port and starboard. One should note, there are actually four helm areas on this boat, with the fourth being on the Roof Top, fitted with a retractable steering console.
  3. The interior is going to be a light-filled and modern contemporary affair if the renderings are being shadowed. The beach club is very spacious, in fact it is expansive for a vessel of this size. Located at the stern it is just steps away from the external swim platform beach area. There is more than enough relaxation space in the beach club for guests to enjoy the area.
  4. The salon is big on space too and open plan with perfect sightlines all around. This is aided by generous superstructure glazing and organic furniture shapes keep the flow and space open. Formal dining is also available here just aft of the navigation area. A stairs to the forward starboard side takes you to the lower deck where the accommodations are.
  5. The lower deck is home to the Evo V8's accommodation. This first hull has all the guest accommodation on the lower deck as you would expect. There are likely three cabins for as many as seven persons on this deck but the yard suggests that the layout can be customized a bit for future owners. Below gives you an idea how the decor style as well as the layout of one of the cabins should look when completed, very clean lines. And while the designer and shipyard promise to reveal all these secrets when the yacht is officially presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021, some first glimpses can already be seen in the newly released renders of the vessel.
