  1. 55-meter Hybrid Superyacht "Quinta Essentia" By Admiral Yachts
The Italian Sea Groups’ brand Admiral Yachts built the owner’s latest 55-meter superyacht with distinct flair. The striking merlot red accents on the exterior make her unmistakable, especially to those who knew their previous yacht that was built by Heesen Yachts as "Quinta Essential". The owner’s stepped up to a new and bigger yacht (in volume) and went to Admiral Yachts for the new custom build. Dobroserdov Design was responsible for the exterior design and the talented Michela Reverberi executed on the interior.

  2. The interior volume onboard "Quinta Essentia" is greater than the yacht would initially suggest. Coming in at 873 GT, the difference in internal volume is immediately apparent as the owner’s previous yacht was 781 GT and was the same 55-meter length. The interior is graced by six guest cabins inclusive of the large full-beam master suite on the forward main deck with the five other cabins on the lower deck. Each guest cabin has its own personality décor and style wise. Below is an example of a guest double cabin showcasing dark hard wood for the cabinetry and light and creamy tones for the upholstery, soft upmarket carpeting and coffered ceilings.
  3. A similar theme continues outside in many of the public guest spaces onboard. The upper saloon for example located on the upper deck if much lighter in tonal value trading many of the creams for white walls and patterned ceilings. Similar to the owner’s previous yacht, semi circular seating dominates the room wrapping around a circular pattern embedded in the carpeting. Large side windows and aft sliding doors provide a wealth of natural light to the space while giving guests a great view outwards.
  4. One deck below houses the yacht’s main saloon which is shared with the dining area. The same cream and white tones exist down here as well, but notice the ceiling detailing is different and there is more play with fancy light fixtures and chandeliers. There are also more hints to the owner’s love of merlot red which is just a stepping-stone to their love of wine and Italian culture. The dark red accents are clearly displayed in the main saloon.
  5. Quinta Essentia is big on interior volume for a 55-meter yacht but her exterior decks are pretty spacious too. For example, the aft main deck area has a pool and another feature that was made popular on the older yacht, a waterfall feature that cascades from the upper aft overhang. The seating is a crisp white upholstered sofa and the space is brightened further with pops of greens on the throw cushions to create a tropical theme.
  6. This lounging area is forward on the upper deck. It features a large relaxing day bed that can be covered by a sun awning. Just forward is a helipad although we can see that this is also used for external furniture. Great views can be seen from this perch on the bow while you relax with a cocktail in hand and cool seabreezes through your hair.
  7. Quinta Essentia is a 55-meter displacement superyacht built in aluminium. The power set up on this yacht is pretty interesting as it involves hybrid technology. Essentially this vessel can run very silent if needed as it has Auxilia Electric Motors that are powered by Volvo variable speed generators. Of course Quinta Essentia can be run on her MAN diesels as well to a top speed of 16.5-knots. This yacht is actually part of Admiral’s E-Motion series with the ‘E’ hinting at the electric hybrid nature of the power and propulsion setup. Accommodation is for twelve guests in six cabins and special features include a beach club, Jacuzzi/pool with waterfall feature, touch-and-go helipad, a master suite with a balcony, a forward bow garage for an 8-meter limo tender and generous internal volume.
