Inace Yachts has been building and repairing yachts since the 1960’s when the shipyard was established. Located in Fortaleza, Ceará State, Brazil, the company is a middle-sized shipyard leader in steel and aluminum luxury yacht construction in Latin America, and the only private shipyard building warships in Brazil.
The company, which has been in business for 35 years, was the first aluminum shipbuilding yard in Brazil. During this time, Inace constructed, converted or repaired over 1,000 ships, including fishing boats, tugs, barges, offshore support vessels, luxury yachts and patrol crafts. This created an impressive reputation in commercial repair and construction, in addition to the leading luxury yacht construction and private military ship builder in Brazil.
In 1987, the company built and exported to the United States the first of a six yacht series, breaking into the American market. After this, more than fifteen luxury yachts were delivered to US, Canada and Europe, including the “Joana II” owned by the famous Formula 1 and Formula Indy world champion Emerson Fittipaldi. Inace has recently completed building and exported two 65 ft Buccaneer Class yachts to the US.
