I'm assuming you mean dry shelf life?
I guess they could crumble apart in 50 years or so.
    What drives your question?

    Guzzi Cali 3.jpg It's a metal.

I have Italian cars and motorbikes, so about 15 minutes before they start corroding into a rusty lump. :D

We have few zinc's that were in water, and somehow didn't work out, we were wondering if it's OK to reuse them

What do you mean "somehow didn't work out"? Yes, zincs can be re-used and are lots and lots of times on boats that are pulled out of the water to be winter-ized, then dropped back into the water.

Sacrifical zinc anodes can be reused for as long as you want as long as their original weight has not dropped by more than 50%
