Looks to be one of the new 50' Viking Sport Yachts. The name was "Neverland". Nice looking flybridge boat...

I think the name of this Defever was "Meritage", although one might find a funnier name for the contraption on the stern!

You have to admire the clean lines of a Viking Sportfish. This one is "Reel Therapy"...

    I have a request...

Publishing YF makes for long days. It's hard to find time to take these pics and get 'em uploaded, so I'd like to ask for your help...

I was trying to put our members on the intracoastal so we could ALL watch the parade together, but I wasn't expecting this to become a Question & Answer thread. Although I'm always willing to help... I'm spread a little thin.

While I can identify most of the boats, filling in the details is time I don't have. I thought I would leave it up to you guys because it would make the thread more interesting... and more fun.

If this OK with everyone, I'll just operate the voyeur cam... sorta speak.

    Thanks!

    Carl

    Carl,

Why not setup a camera / webcam with a motion sensitive trigger setting.
As soon as something passes that area it will automatically take the pic.

Creative labs have this for their cams.

    Jay,

Believe it or not, I actually have this equipment! I bought it after my last house was burglarized. I set up an upload link to the server for each picture that was taken when the motion detection system was activated. I thought about using the equipment for the Yacht Flocking thread, but 1.) it's stashed away in storage. 2.) every bird, dog, cat or butterfly would set it off. 3.) There are easily 100 boats that pass by everyday, of which only a few really qualify for YF.

I don't mind running outside and taking the pics. It's a nice diversion from coding & writing.

Today was a slow day, but this Hacker was the exception. As old and slow as it looks, I had to scramble to get this picture. This boat has one of the fastest displacement speeds I've ever seen, whether it be an offshore performance boat or a yacht. It was really quite impressive. Must have been making 15 knots with NO wake. The name was "Lady Di III"...

I think this is a 57' Tollycraft. I've only seen a total of two in my whole life, so I may be wrong. The name was "Amber Isle"...

This one's for John Stinton, one of our members who's gone to work for the company. This is a 47' Sealine...

This is a late 90's Riviera in the 36' range. You think they were going after potential Bertram buyers with those black accent stripes...?

I am pretty sure this is a 53, the 57 has a cockpit, there were two 53's here in Grosse Pointe in the mid 1990's
