    Hi,

I'm shocked. Noticed a drop on one my IPS 400 drive oil pressure. wanted to try
another oil sensor first and was quoted $ 2 644.00 for a replacement sender unit
    from a dealer in Canada.

Is this the norm with Volvo ?

    Any help appreciated

Not sure. Have you had to add drive oil recently? Does the oil look clean and not milky? How long has it been since the oil has been changed? How much lower is the pressure? You could try swapping the 2 sensors from side to side. That sounds like an aweful lot of money for a pressure sender.

    Hi,

I have a low pressure alarm on one of my IPS pods. Tried to get a new sender from 2 dealers, the one in Canada quoted me $ 2 644,00 and one in the US is at $ 1 762,00.

Is this really the going price for that little gizmo ?
