"Beothuk" will be on display at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). This vessel has the distinction as being the first all-LED lit yacht and she has a beautiful interior. Beothuk is actually on the market for 15.9-Million USD.
Project "Penumbra" Vripack has been hinting at a new and radical concept in recent months and that it will be unveiled at one of the recent boat shows. This project is unlike-as it seems-any thing that Vripack has done before and it is in the form of a wave-piercing design! The vessel appears in the form of a yacht friendly version of the US Navy's USS "Swift". The design calls for a 48-meter long platform that is stable and able to carry large payloads, much like the militarized version. With an amidships helipad and ample space for toys, the application for this design might go the way of a toy carrier for a yacht. Here is a look at the Vripack design...
The Vripack designed and RMK Marine built "Private Lives" has changed locations. She is now in Athens, Greece asking 9.65-Million Euros.
Smart Kit® by Vripack Vripack Smart Kit® allows for faster construction At the 2009 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, Vripack introduced their brand new innovative Smart KitTM construction method to the yachting industry. Now their first unprecedented challenge is underway: building a complete steel 20m motor yacht in a mind boggling 7,5 months. This brand new vessel, designed for the Italian Gamma Yachts, will prove how efficient this way of engineering and constructing is. The advantages of Vripack’s Smart Kit® are endless; an extremely high detail 3D engineering process is executed by a simple production technique saving hundreds of metal production hours, standard profiles are replaced by CNC profiles, builders are enabled to pre-assemble units quicker, more accurate and dimensionally correct resulting in less fairing, painting and noise, but above all a great loss of man hours meaning lower costs to build a yacht resulting in yachts quicker in the water. In other words, Vripack’s Smart Kit® definitely speeds up the whole production process. This semi-planing yacht has a trendy exterior with a 360° panoramic wheelhouse letting plenty of sunlight flow inside. Her interior can be defined as extremely spacious, suitable for 6 guests and 2 crew members. A complete galley, salon, dinette, all are present. Her flybridge has a steering console and a built in wet bar with grill. In the walk through engine rooms, the twin engines take care of the propulsion. A sun deck up front creates a great spot to relax. So for those searching for a cost effective brand new motor yacht without having to wait a few years: Vripack has the solution for you. Of course Vripack’s engineers make sure that yards receive full support during the building process saving time and money for you and to be honest, don’t we all want this? *** http://www.***********
Vripack goes GREEN...again Being large supporters of a green and healthy environment for over two decades now, Vripack’s designers and engineers have launched their first 100% battery powered Passenger Vessel which will whisper herself through the Irish canals. This revolutionary full electric 18m Barge is driven by 36, with a maximum of 60, batteries which activate the silent 11KW twin engines creating an astonishing 10km per hour. Being ‘Green’, she is entirely equipped with LED lighting and can be charged ashore by normal or green electricity. On board 50 persons can be fully catered thanks to the luxuriously equipped galley. All delicious bites are accompanied by beats from the numerous speakers and bubbles served from the on-board bar, making her very suitable for anniversaries and weddings. Also wheelchairs have easy access. The classic details of her exterior are reminders of the historic Irish barges, for example the wooden rubbing strakes and the outside steering possibility with the old fashioned tiller. The rudder of this 55ton Vripack design rotates 90° creating less maximum length making her fit exactly between the Irish locks. As she also complies with all the Irish Damage Stability criteria for Passenger Vessels, she is the perfect solution for an enjoyable sight-seeing voyage along the Irish canals.
