My new boat has Racor 110A. I need to change the elements. Anyone know of a web site that may have the instructions...or maybe you know?

To change the gas fuel filter I understand a "match\lighter" is involved.:D

Shut your gas, open the bolt on the bottom and put a can underneath. Then open the bolt at top. Not sure if it's the top that screws off or the bottom (whichever isn't bolted to the wall). Replace the filter with a 10 Micron, close it up, close the bottom bolt, fill with fuel and close the top bolt.
Always put oil pads under your work.
Alternative method: open bolt, light match. Never have to change again.

Good thing that K1W1 & NYCAP enlightened you with such matchless advice.
In any other Forum, your question might have ignited a seriously incendiary commentary that would only flare up out of control..

K1W1 –Thank you for the site. I printed it and placed it in my maintenance book. If I had “Binged” it myself then that would lead to a boring forum.

NYCAP123 – That’s the “inside” information I was looking for. Thank you.

Loren – It would have been a blast reading it…:D
