    Finally !

    Hello all Yachtforums members!

I am new in town and only for dreaming... hope this doesn't blackmail me. ;)

I was waiting for this moment! I discovered Oceanco not so long ago and became totally crazy about their yachts. the reviews of Alpha Nero and Anastasia on yachtforums are in good part responsible!

And then I discover the Y705 project on oceanco website and litterally fell in love. The renderings looked like the yacht I would like to own! And I was desesperatly looking for these renderings to became true...

and it is even more beautiful in real! The color, the design... can't wait to see it in trials, and really hope yachtforums will have the chance to review it!

by the way, how do Yachtforums have access for a review? Is it the shipyard who gives access or do you have to deal with the owner?

Yes Carl, my research leads to the name "Sunrays" and will be the final name.

I found this recent and nice picture of "Sunrays" in the water underway.

Resizing the picture does not do the yacht any justice. Here is a link to the original photo for you to see closer. Surprisingly, this person has taken some of YF's photos without permission? I see some of Heston's shots there as well as a few of my photos too.

to my point of view, it is just breathtakingly gorgeous...

And this hull color is refreshing! Can't wait to see more, please, bring more pics!! and of course a complete review by yachtforums would be heaven!

By the way, as discussed in the yacht renderings section of the forum, the helipad on the top deck is seen as a major design flaw.. But to me it seems that the aft deck just below the helipad is closed enough to avoid flying cushions problems, don't you think?

I would think that the crew would either cover or move the cushions for the incoming heli. For this same reason, I think why "Lady Moura" had sun shades and awnings added to her aft decks to help deflect some of the rotor wash. However, there aren't many obstructions to the landing heli pad So I believe this won't be a problem for "Sunrays" heli.

There is a nice sea-trial photo of "Sunrays" on the OceAnco website. As usual, you can access OceAnco via our border banners.

    Photographs of Sunrays

I have only a very poor quality picture taken with my Phone but I contacted Gibdan and he told me he had taken pictures and would load them on soon.

Well I adore "Sunrays", OceAnco just are bettering themselves with each one. I cannot wait for Y706, which if my research is right and their schedule is running good, should be launched at the end of this year.

OceAnco has now listed Y705 as "Sunrays" not like we didn't know but they said she was delivered on March 9th 2010.

I like the way the hull and superstructure are separated aft by the _"floating"
boat deck. I cannot recall another yacht with this design element. The hull color is quite nice in my opinion.

    Yum yum!
Great photos of her. Hope to see more!

you wouldn't think it on paper, but that hull color of choice really sets her off (so to speak). Very regal indeed.
