News: The 25M 'Italia' By PC Design

PC Design Unveils 25-meter 'Italia'

This one is a concept for now but it looks cool and it's under 100-feet with all the parameters covered for it to actually convert into a real build. It is simply called 'Italia' and is designed by Italian designer PC Design with an LOA of 25-meters (82.5-feet). It's rocket-like external appearance is purposeful and it isn't simply for styling cues. The yacht is envisioned to be fast!

How about 60-knots fast, using a pair of CAT C32 ACERT rated at 1,925 horse power each. Those are coupled to a pair of Twin DISC ASD 14 Surface Drives. The design has been included in this years lineup for the German Design Award. "This result is an honour and a source of pride, for us, it really is a fantastic achievement," said Mattia Piro, co-founder of PC Design. "We continue to look to the future with trust and optimism and we can’t wait to launch our hyper yacht," he elaborated.

The vessel has an interesting design concentrating the majority of the superstructure forward. The arching shape of the structure also lends to the craft looking more like a superyacht tender. However, this feature allows for enormous deck space aft that is fairly private by using high bulwarks to conceal the area when viewed on standard profile. The interior is modern and can sleep guests overnight. There is accommodation provided for four guests and two crew.
