SouthernWind Shipyard Launches SW102RS "SeaWave"

South African sail yacht manufacturer SouthernWind Shipyard announces the launching of another luxury sailing sloop. She is called "SeaWave", a member of the SW102 line and features a Raised Saloon design. The Performance Cruising sloop is quite similar to her sister "Farfalla" with the RS design and so far is the second yacht in that line to feature it. SeaWave showcases design both on the exterior and interior by Nauta Yacht Design while the Naval Architecture is by Farr Yacht Design. She features a grey hull with prominent white boot-line that compliments the white of the Raised Saloon.

Onboard, the owner has a large cabin for themselves towards the aft of the boat and is separated from the main saloon by a studio. The interiors are fitted out in horizontal Open Grain Teak, with ivory linen on the bulkheads, resulting in a warm, classical feel. SeaWave will leave Cape Town by the end of July on a long 7000 mile maiden voyage to the Mediterranean. After that she will make her world debut at the September shows, first at the Cannes Yachting Festival and then at the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).
