  1. Sirena Yachts Unveil 85-foot Yacht At Miami Yacht Show
Turkish builder Sirena Yachts used the recently concluded Miami Yacht Show to unveil the design for their latest build. It is an 85-foot yacht that is actually currently under construction in Turkey. The new 85-foot model looks to build on the established 56 and 64-foot models that they already build. The design is compliments a collaborative effort between Cor D. Rover and Frers Naval Architects.
  2. The yacht has its arrangement across three decks and you will find a few surprising features onboard. The owner will have a spacious suite on the forward main deck. The suite will also have a fold-out balcony which is a feature typically found on larger yachts. The front of the room is glass-fronted to the bow and has access to the pool installed outside. Owners can have either a four or five cabin layout onboard this yacht. On the lower deck there is a large full-beam VIP that can be converted into two cabins to make the extra. It probably is best to keep the layout to four cabins though.
  3. Outside, the decks provide guests with al-fresco areas. The aft main deck has a large table for guests to have a more relaxed style of dinner perhaps while at anchor. Up on the sun deck, there is another al-fresco dining table that can be used for breakfast. The sun deck is mainly covered by a hard top and has a secondary helm station up front with direct access below to the wheelhouse. Construction of this yacht will see a GRP hull being made along with a carbon fiber superstructure. Onboard will be a pair of MAN 1,400 horse power engines. If getting to your destination slowly isn't an issue for you, a continuous 10-knots allows for a 2,500 nautical mile range can be expected. With the low-resistance hull and the power below decks, 26-knot top-end speed shouldn't be a problem.
