With the world-debut of the first Tankoa 70-meter (S701) "Suerte", Italian yard Tankoa Yachts is pressing on with the construction of the sistership to her -the second hull-. Funny thing is, this yacht had started construction already but was halted. Now the yard feels confident enough to resume construction on this hull -it's a risky move-. Yes, that means they are building this vessel on spec.

The exterior design is by Francesco Paszkowski and as for the interior, that still remains customizable for a potential client to come onboard. However, they are saying there is only six to eight months of time to play with from a custom interior otherwise Tankoa will fit the standard S701 layout for the interior. Propulsive power comes via twin CAT 3516B marine diesels and at just under 13-knots continuously, this 70-meter is expected to trod 6,000 nautical miles on a full tank of fuel. Delivery is penned one year from now, May 2017. Since she is being built on spec at the moment, you are free to purchase her at around 59 million Euros.
